Formula Student teams in the fast lane with the FVA-Workbench

Victory often comes down to milliseconds. Development cycles are short and timelines are tight. Formula Student teams need reliable tools that deliver precise results to implement their ideas quickly and accurately. For the 2025 Formula Student season, several university teams used the FVA-Workbench to design their transmissions and make technical decisions based on reliable calculations. This allowed them to stay focused on innovation and getting the most out of their drive concepts.

The teams especially appreciated the integrated development process in the FVA-Workbench: FEM components can be integrated, and complete transmission systems can be simulated in a continuous workflow, without additional tools or intermediate steps to cause errors. Interactive reports also support clear documentation and facilitate communication within the teams.

The following teams used the FVA-Workbench to make it to the starting line in 2025:

  • Baltic Racing

  • BRS Racing Team

  • Einstein Motorsport

  • Formula Student Team Weingarten

  • Global Formula Racing

  • Rennschmiede Pforzheim

  • UMD Racing
