This online seminar deals with the fundamentals of the complete noise-generation chain, from gear mesh excitation, through speed-dependent transmission of structure-borne noise through the shaft-bearing system, to noise emission at the casing. Participants will learn criteria for evaluating excitation behavior as well as strategies for designing low-excitation gears. Building on this, it will be shown how vibration of the shaft-bearing system can already be considered in the design phase...
