Together with FVA GmbH, the Ohio-based company developed a solution to keep power transmission systems moving efficiently and reliably. Effective immediately, Timken is making its roller bearing catalogs available to the entire industry in the FVA-Workbench gearbox design software.
This is FVA GmbH’s response to frequent customer requests from R&D and design departments for direct access to Timken bearing technologies and information (such as internal geometry and manufacturing data). Users can now quickly find the right bearings for their applications from Timken’s wide selection.
For the release of version 6.0 of the FVA-Workbench, current catalog data for over 5600 Timken roller bearings has been integrated into the software. FVA GmbH and Timken plan to keep this bearing data current in future software updates.
